ŽILINA is the centre of northwest Slovakia and one of the largest towns of the Slovak Republic. The city of Žilina is situated in the Váh River Valley, in Žilina Basin, at the confluence of Váh River with the rivers Kysuca and Rajčanka. The whole basin is situated among the mountain ranges Malá Fatra, Strážovské vrchy, Súľovské vrchy, Javorníky and Kysucká vrchovina. Žilina offers many opportunities for tourists. By car From directions Bratislava, Martin, Čadca and Rajec all the main access roads lead to Žilina. Follow the traffic signs showing the direction "Centrum". The hotel is located in the historical centre of the town, on Hurbanova Street, right behind the TESCO Shopping Centre, opposite the parking house. There is a blue traffic signalling in the town which guides directly to the hotel. Hotel Dubná Skala**** dispose of its own two-storey car park right behind the building.
By train/bus The main bus and railway station are located 10 minutes walking from the hotel. Go along Národná Street and pass through Hlinka´s Square (Hlinkovo námestie). Carry on behind the TESCO Shopping Centre and you will get to Hurbanova Street. Hotel Dubná Skala**** is located just opposite the parking house.
